The Dow hits a record high

The Dow Jones Industrial Average hit a record high of 21,548 on Monday, up 0.93%. After hitting that high, the index pulled back.

So far this year, the index is up 8.32%. The tech-heavy NASDAQ 100 is up 14.37% and the S&P 500 is higher by 7.94%.

The FAANG stocks are down on Monday amid ongoing concerns of stretched valuations.
