Nothing rings in the holiday season like some blood-boiling road rage and the utter conviction that you're the only person who knows how to drive on ice.

To help put it all in perspective, the Texas A&M Transportation Institute has released its annual Urban Mobility Scorecard, which ranks the metropolitan areas with the worst roadway congestion.

The researchers tallied the number of hours people spent stuck in traffic over the course of a year - also adding in the estimated fuel cost of all that wasted time - to come up with a list.

If only flying sleighs were real.
