Thanks to Agra’s Taj Mahal, Jhansi’s Queen Laxmi Bai and Varanasi’s ancient culture, Uttar Pradesh is always a favourite among travellers. But now with the ads featuring more details, it’s going to be sure hit.

But who’s the guy making these ads? Meet Nabarun Banerjee , a pass out of Film Institute of India, Pune, India’s premier film school. “The Heritage Arc series under the Incredible India campaign was directly monitored by Akhilesh Yadav, since UP is majorly focusing on promoting tourism of the state. So they wanted an experienced person to handle the project and needed to be shot with 4K equipments (Cinema equipments). So that’s how my name came in and I was awarded the project. The film came out well and received five lakh hits even before it went on air on different channels,” Banerjee said.

The briefs given to him had a point to focus. While Varanasi needed to have a folk track, Lucknow demanded lifestyle perspective, and Jhaansi would be around woman empowerment. And that was the click Nabarun needed. In no time, he had created the series of advertisements that took India’s tourism to the next level.
