'Uttaran' actress Tinaa Dattaa molested on a Jet Airways flight. What’s more shocking is the airlines didn’t offer much help

It’s shocking that it’s happening everyday. As we progress to a better economy, harassment on women seem to be increasing in many folds. There is hardly a day, where no woman is harmed. While molestation and sexual abuse were more specific to empty roads and lonely cabs, a recent incident on a TV actress
But then began the real trauma. As she complained to the cabin crew, they found this complaint to be as silly as some regular thing. When she kept insisting on meeting the captain of the flight, the cabin crew just offered to change the seat of the man. Instead of calling for security, the unapologetic crew finally let Captain
A traumatized Tinaa wrote,” I felt so Violated and yet no one was there to support except one family in the entire aircraft, we as Indians do not care for the safety of our fellow beings, the entire flight did not stand up for this except that family. Is there no safety measures for your passengers?? Is this how you are treated and I get to hear all sorts of excuses how the matter is not on their (captain) jurisdiction and nothing can be done and apparently this is very common in flights (according to the air hostess). Finally after much arguments I had no say as no one came forth for my help. " (SIC)
She also added that no action has been taken by Jet Airways yet.
