Disney / Marvel 2008's "Iron Man" was the first Marvel film to use a post-credit scene, many of which would play into future films.

The Marvel movies have turned the post-credits scene into an art. The scenes are so well established that they've expanded them into mid-credits scenes, often offering two bonuses on every movie.
