You probably have free tickets waiting in your Ticketmaster account RIGHT NOW
Ever bought tickets to, say, a Broadway show or a Patriots game through Ticketmaster? No doubt you've balked at the outrageous "service" fees associated with the simple act of buying a ticket that you literally cannot purchase through another seller.

Two ticket-buyers were upset enough that they outright sued Ticketmaster over the charges. A decade later, a $400 million settlement in that class-action case (Schlesinger v. Ticketmaster) means that you almost certainly have some free tickets waiting for you in your Ticketmaster account. You're very likely one of the over 50 million people who could be getting some free out of the settlement.
I checked on Sunday morning - I have seven free vouchers, redeemable for "two free General Admission tickets" waiting for me, to say nothing of coupons.

If you bought any tickets on Ticketmaster between October 21, 1999 and February 27, 2013, you almost certainly have either a coupon or outright free ticket vouchers. Here's how to check:
1) Go to Ticketmaster and log in to your account.

2) On the My Account page, click on the "Active Vouchers" link.

3) Celebrate with friends!
It's not clear just yet which concerts these vouchers will be usable for, but Ticketmaster has a page set up where you can sign up for alerts so you'll know which concerts are available and when.
And while you should not put off checking, don't fear: the expiration date on the vouchers is June 18, 2020. There's plenty of time to enjoy these free tickets and discounts.
