Achhe Din for aam aadmi. NaMo Govt to create over 2 lakh jobs by 2017

The Modi government has some good news for the aam aadmi. The government will create over two lakh posts in its various departments.
The government, in the budget estimates for 2016-17, had projected an increase of nearly 2.18 lakh by 2017, in the current workforce of 33.05 lakh.

The ministry of Home Affairs will add 5,635 new jobs by 2017. This will take the total work force of the ministry to 22,006 by next year. Similarly, police department will also see 47, 264 new posts, thus making it 10,75, 341 in 2017 from 10,28,077.

Ministry of Defence will take the count to 51,084 in 2017, thus adding 10,894 in staff strength.

"The government, wherever required, takes into consideration creation of new posts. The budget estimates on the strength of Central government establishments will help provide good governance," said Jitendra Singh, Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions told PTI.
