Amazon is slashing prices on popular holiday gifts for 12 days - here's what categories will be on sale and when

- Amazon is running 12 Days of Deals on holiday gifts, starting December 2.
- Each day has deals in a specific category (find the full list below), and they become available to shop at 12 a.m. (midnight) PT each day.
- For furniture, Christmas trees, and ornaments, shop Wayfair's similar sale, going on during the same timeframe.
You and the rest of America may have just bought a new Instant Pot, a pair of Bose QuietComfort Headphones, and, according to the data, a small mountain of Michelle Obama's book "Becoming" on Black Friday and Cyber Monday. But you're only human - you didn't wind up getting your nephew a gift yet, and the blender you wanted wasn't part of the Cyber Week discounts.
For you and anyone else with holiday shopping to complete, Amazon's '12 Days of Deals' is a great second wave. For 12 days, the company slashes prices on a vast selection of holiday gifts, with each day featuring discounts on a different category. Deals start at midnight PT (3 a.m. ET) each day beginning on Sunday, December 2 and running through Thursday, December 13.

- Monday, December 3: Gaming
- Tuesday, December 4: Toys
- Wednesday, December 5: PC
- Thursday, December 6: Home
- Friday, December 7: Fashion
- Saturday, December 8: Baby, Pets & Camera
- Sunday, December 9: Beauty & Personal Care
- Monday, December 10: Electronics
- Tuesday, December 11: Kitchen
- Wednesday, December 12: Furniture, Lawn & Garden
- Thursday, December 13: Sports & Outdoor
Now is a great time to plan ahead. Stack your wish-list with holiday gifts you know you want to give, and check there to see if they're discounted on their category days. It's also a good idea to visit the main deals page in case you see something you hadn't discovered before, or a big discount makes a nicer model justifiable.
