An EgyptAir flight from Paris to Cairo has gone missing

EgyptAir, the national airline of Egypt, has said that one of its planes heading from Paris to Cairo has disappeared from radar Wednesday night.

Flight MS804 lost contact with radar at 2:45 a.m. Cairo time, the airline announced. The plane is carrying 59 passengers and 10 crew members.

The airline said a search and rescue team is being assembled.

According to the airline, the plane faded from radar 10 miles inside Egyptian airspace.
