Twitter goes ‘bananas’ after Rahul Bose posts its price at a 5 star hotel

• Rahul Bose who was staying at a 5 star hotel in Chandigarh was charged ₹442.50 for two bananas.
• The actor went on social media to share the video of the bill.
• Twitteratti had a good laugh looking at the bill for just two bananas named as a “fruit platter”.

It’s not uncommon for actors who are shooting at different cities to stay at 5-star hotels. So was the case with actor Rahul Bose who was shooting in Chandigarh.

But then the actor went on to order two bananas while working out at the gym of the hotel. And the hotel charged ₹442.50 for the ‘fruit platter’ which included just two bananas.

In the market, a kilogram of bananas would cost you barely ₹60. It means two of them cost less than ₹20.

The actor went on to post the video on social media with the hashtag #gofitgobroke.

He wrote, “You have to see this to believe it. Who said fruit wasn’t harmful to your existence? Ask the wonderful folks at @JWMarriottChd #goingbananas #howtogetfitandgobroke #potassiumforkings”



Meanwhile, the hotel which had shared a photo with Rahul Bose on Twitter, later took it down after all the trolling for their price of two bananas.
