ABN AMRO strengthens partnership with TCS

New Delhi, Jan 29 () India's largest IT services company Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) on Wednesday said its strategic partnership with ABN AMRO has been expanded to help the latter build a new, scalable technology core.

This will help ABN AMRO, which is one of the largest banks in the Netherlands, to increase its innovation velocity and support its digital ambitions, a statement said.

TCS has been a trusted partner for ABN AMRO for the last 15 years and has worked closely with the bank, it added.

"Our aspiration is to build a future-proof bank powered by our people and partner ecosystem to create a long-term value for our customers. TCS as our growth and transformation partner is working closely with the bank in rejuvenating our IT landscape leveraging the synergy between IT business and operations," Christian Bornfeld, Chief Innovation and Technology Officer (Group COO) and Executive Board Member at ABN AMRO, said.

* * Nucleus Software Q3 net up 12 pc to Rs 23.2 cr

IT firm Nucleus Software on Wednesday reported about 12 per cent rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 23.2 crore for the quarter ended December 31.

The Noida-headquartered company's net profit stood at Rs 20.73 crore in the year-ago period, it said in a BSE filing.

Its consolidated revenue from operations grew 6 per cent to Rs 130.33 crore during the quarter under review as against Rs 122.93 crore in the year-ago period, it added.

Cactus Communications on Wednesday said it has acquired UNSILO, a Denmark-based artificial intelligence (AI) and natural language processing (NLP) company that specialises in text analytics, linguistics, and data science.

UNSILO, co-founded by Mads Rydahl and Thomas Laursen, has partnered with companies like BMJ, Wiley, Clarivate Analytics, and Taylor & Francis to develop solutions for the publishing ecosystem.
