Refined soya oil futures fall on subdued demand

New Delhi, Jan 27 () Refined soya oil prices on Monday fell by Rs 21.4 to Rs 846.8 per 10 kg in futures trade as speculators reduced holdings amid subdued demand at spot market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for February delivery declined by Rs 21.4, or 2.46 per cent, to Rs 846.8 per 10 kg in 54,215 lots.

Refined soya oil contracts for March delivery dropped by Rs 20.4, or 2.38 per cent, to Rs 838 per 10 kg in 31,945 lots.

Market analysts said cutting down of positions by participants against ample stocks mainly influenced refined soya oil prices. VHP SHW SHW
