- The "Godzilla" spin-off series follows the Monarch organization as they hunt giant monsters.
In 2014, Warner Bros. delivered a new take on Godzilla and kicked off a brand new cinematic universe — the MonsterVerse. King Kong joined the film franchise with 2017's "Kong: Skull Island" and Godzilla had a second go in the 2019 sequel "Godzilla: King of the Monsters" before the two iconic monsters finally faced off against one another in 2021's "Godzilla vs. Kong."
But the connective tissue of this fictional universe is the mysterious organization called Monarch, which is in charge of tracking these beasts across the world and protecting humanity from the inevitable destruction.
The cinematic universe has now expanded to the small screen: Monarch itself is the focus of Apple TV+'s new spinoff series "Monarch: Legacy of Monsters," which premiered Friday. Set shortly after the events of 2014's "Godzilla," the show follows a pair of siblings searching for answers about their missing father, which leads them to the organization.
Here a rundown of the show's cast and who they each play.
