Nick Cordero 'doing good' after his leg was amputated due to COVID-19 complications
After spending 18 days in the intensive care unit (ICU) with the COVID-19 infection, the Tony-nominated actor needed to get a surgery due to complications from the virus.
Kloots, who has been updating about her husband's health on social media, shared the good news on her Instagram Story on Sunday.
"I just heard from the doctors, he's doing good, guys. He is doing the best that he possibly can right now... Surgery went well. He's recovering well... Everything seems to be calmed down now," she said in the video.
"We're still rooting for him to wake up," she added.
The 41-year-old actor has been sedated in the ICU since April 1.
