Flipkart will release 20,000 units of Xiaomi Mi 3 devices on Tuesday. The company claims to have already received more than 1,00,000 registrations. Nevertheless, the registration window would remain open till Monday midnight.

The accessories with the phone include flip covers in white, blue and black. The flip covers cost Rs 559 each, while the screen protector costs Rs 179.

Along with Flipkart, Xiaomi has been re-creating record sale theatrics, and this Tuesday, too, would be the same. As soon as the Mi 3 became available on the site on July 22, Flipkart site crashed temporarily due to heavy traffic. Flipkart claimed the Mi 3 was out of stock in less than 40 minutes. The second batch apparently sold out in five seconds.

At just Rs 13,999, the Mi 3, with Snapdragon 800, is the cheapest high-end smartphone available in the market.
