Vadodara-based Prachi Sukhwani (21) is suffering from macular dystrophy, also known as retinal degradation, since class III. Over the years, she lost 80% of her vision because of this rare genetic disorder. However, her condition couldn’t prove to be a barrier in her road to success.

A BBA student at Maharaja Sayajirao University's Faculty of Commerce, Sukhwani has cracked the Common Admission Test (CAT), one of the toughest entrance exams in the country, and scored 98.55 percentile.

After completing her MBA, Prachi intends to join an MNC, following which she dreams of opening a start-up before eventually opening an NGO for the blind.
