Is there a more talked-about topic in British politics right now than immigration?
Whether thrashed out almost every week on Question Time or across pub tables nationwide, everybody seems to have an opinion on Britain's borders and the people crossing them.
According to the Office for National Statistics, net migration in the UK hit a record high of 330,000 last year, while an Ipsos MORI poll published in August revealed that immigration was the number one concern among British voters.
A referendum is expected to take place in June this year in which the UK will vote on whether to leave or remain in the EU.
But how much of what people think they know is true? And to what extent are opinions formed not by facts but misconceptions?
