The median estimate among economists is for an addition of 160,000, according to Bloomberg.
"Thursday's ADP release may come in closer to our economics team's below-consensus 130k forecast for Friday's official non-farm payrolls release and we continue to anticipate evidence of slowing in Friday's report," said BNP Paribas FX strategists in a note Thursday.
Following the slowdown in jobs growth during May to the weakest pace in six years, economists will use Friday's jobs report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics to gauge whether there's a real slowdown in hiring.
