Here comes Chicago PMI ...
The Institute of Supply Management will release its latest Chicago business barometer at 9:45 a.m. ET.
Economists forecast a purchasing manager's index (PMI) of 52.6 for April, according to Bloomberg. That would be a slowdown from 53.6 in the prior month.
This is the final regional manufacturing report we're getting ahead of ISM and Markit Economics' manufacturing PMIs on Monday.
Pantheon Macroeconomics' Ian Shepherdson wrote in a preview, "We look for an above consensus reading from the Chicago PMI, which ought to be lifted by the rebound in stock prices and stronger aircraft orders; Boeing is headquartered in the city."
