US consumer confidence is expected to have slipped in December, according to Wall Street analysts surveyed by Bloomberg.
The reading hit a fresh 17-year high of 129.5 in November as optimism around the labor market continued to gain momentum, but economists forecast that reading fell to 128.0 in December.
The report will cross the wires at 10 a.m. ET.
