Here's how India's largest gold ornaments software fared in the markets today

Shares of Rajesh Exports Ltd., India's largest software of gold ornaments, surged to a record high after the Bangalore-based company said it had made an acquisition worth 400 million dollars.

Rajesh Exports has purchased Valcambi refinery in an all-cash deal. Debt-free Valcambi processed an average of 945 tons of Gold and 325 Tons of Silver each year over the past 3 years, Rajesh said in a note to exchanges. Switzerland-based Valcambi is the world's largest refinery of precious metals.

Rajesh Exports rose 2.4 percent, or 13 rupees, to 545 rupees on the National Stock Exchange, where 6.9 lakh shares were traded in the first one hour of trade compared with the 5-day average of 24.6 lakhs.

Rajesh Exports' market capitalisation has gained 229 percent in the past one year to 15,620 crore rupees.
