Here’s how young India is buying cars

The festive season is on and so is the spending habit of upper-middle class of India. Be it the upgraded pay commission, rural deamnd or just the heavy discounts, Indians buying cars is has increased in last few months. In India, car isn’t just an investment like essentials. Here cars come with an aspirational value. Someone keen on buying a car, be it an Alto or a BMW, would do detailed analysis and reviews before walking to the car dealers.

Young India with a knack for driving and a disposable income is very particular about everything of the desired car. Earlier options were limited so a car buyer didn’t have the luxury to select his budget, upgrade to safety features or accessorize. But now it’s completely different. Moreover, the aspirational value of the car has made Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Vitara Brezza, Hyundai Creta and Honda Jazz have a waiting period of 3-6 months.
