The new restaurant is housed inside Newport Street Gallery, which opened last year and displays exhibitions from Hirst’s personal collection. The restaurant caters to visitors during and after gallery hours.

Inspired by Hirst’s 1992 installation, Pharmacy 2 takes its cue from the artist’s last concept restaurant, Pharmacy Restaurant and Bar, that was open from 1998 until 2003 in Notting Hill.

The restaurant's medicinal decor includes pill designs imprinted into its marble floor, and etched glass windows with DNA strands.
Hirst's series "Medicine Cabinets" as well as his butterfly Kaleidoscope paintings can be found on display too.

Diners can get "prescriptions" filled at the bar, where they can sip cocktails with names like Hix Fix, a £13.95 combination of Morello cherry in Somerset apple eau de view with sparkling wine.
“Pharmacy 2 combines two of my greatest passions; art and food," Damien Hirst said in a press release. "I’ve always loved Mark as a chef and his approach to food, so it’s great we’re working together on this."
