AirHelp, a global company that looks after the rights of air passengers, recently ranked the best and worst airports across the world. The ranks were given considering on-time performance, service quality, and food and shopping options. The ranks are based on data collected from several vendors including AirHelp.


Qatar’s Hamad International Airport is ranked as the best airport in the world. While Portugal’s Lisbon Portela Airport is the worst airport in the world. Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi Airport was the only Indian airport to grab a spot in the top 10.

The worst airports in the world are Lisbon Portela Airport, Portugal (LIS, Kuwait International Airport, Kuwait (KWI), Eindhoven Airport, Netherlands (EIN), Henri Coanda International Airport, Romania (OTP), and Malta International Airport, Malta (MLA)
