It’s Dilwale vs. Bajirao Mastani as Shah Rukh Khan-starrer bags Rs.100 Crores worldwide

Dilwale has grossed Rs.100 Crores worldwide in its opening weekend. Real life couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone starrer Bajirao Mastani also seems unstoppable. The film minted a whopping Rs.46.77 Crores in India in a mere three days. As Christmas and New Year approaches, these films have no other competition to watch out for. They will have enough time to fight it out!

Rohit Shetty's romantic action-comedy collected Rs.121 Crores in its opening weekend worldwide. It collected Rs.65.09 Crores in India and around Rs. 56 Crores abroad. The film had the biggest ever opening for a Bollywood film in the Gulf. It was the #1 film this weekend, higher than 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens'. It also had the highest opening for a Bollywood film in 2015 in Britain, Australia and Malaysia. It was SRK’s personal best in Malaysia trade analyst Komal Nahta said.

Bajirao Mastani also saw good footfalls over the weekend according to trade analyst Taran Adarsh. The film reportedly made Rs.12.80 Crores on its opening day.
