Take a look inside the $218 million Boeing Dreamliner private jet the new President of Mexico is selling because it's 'too lavish'

The Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner is the first in a new generation of ultra-fuel-efficient wideboy airliners.

The 787-8 is the smallest of the three Dreamliner variants and carries a list price of $239 million.

It's powered by a pair of General Electric GEnx-1B turbofan engines and has a range of nearly 8,500 miles.

The Mexican presidential jet was the sixth Dreamliner to be built and first flew on October 4, 2010.

It was acquired from Boeing in 2016 and converted from an airliner to use as a VIP transport.

It's one of a handful of Boeing Dreamliners to be have been turned into private jets.

The plane is named after Mexican revolutionary leader and Roman Catholic priest José Ma. Morelos Y Pavón

Naturally, the cabin of the jet is emblazed with the Presidential seal.

You won't find traditional airline seats here. Instead, the interior has been designed for work and relaxation.
