MISS: ADP Jobs Report Comes In At Just 158K

The number is out and it's not so hot.

Analysts expected 200K but instead it came in at just 158K.

On the other hand, last week's ADP was revised from 198K to 237K.

So the number was not pretty, but it's ADP and folks aren't likely to put a ton of weight.

Here's an interesting chart by industry.

Of note is that there were ostensibly zero new construction jobs.

This Friday we get the Non-Farm Payrolls report.

As a preview today we get the ADP jobs report for March, which just measures private sector job creation.

Analysts expect to see 200K new jobs.
