The plant, in November last year, achieved a production milestone of 6 lakh vehicles; it just took another 10 months to reach the 7-lakh mark.
The Haridwar plant, which was launched in December 2005, manufactures Bolero, Scorpio S2, Gio (passenger and load) and the Champion range of Mahindra products as of now.

While speaking on the remarkable achievement for the company, Pravin Shah, president and chief executive (automotive) M&M said, "The plant has constantly achieved manufacturing excellence and reflects the commitment and spirit of accepting no limits in keeping with our Rise philosophy. This milestone will be a stepping stone to many more accolades for the Haridwar plant in times to come".

The automobile manufacturer is present in almost every segment of the industry—from commercial vehicles to entry level and premium SUV category.

The manufacturing units of the company are located in Chakan, Nasik, Haridwar, Zaheerabad, Kandivali and Igatpuri.
