NBC is ending its business relationship with Donald Trump

Donald Trump is getting dumped by NBC.

According to Los Angeles Times reporter Meredith Blake, NBC is severing ties with Trump due to his inflammatory statements about Mexican immigrants.

"Due to recent derogatory statements by Donald Trump regarding immigrants, NBCUniversal is ending its relationship with Mr. Trump," NBC said, according to Blake.

NBC said in the statement that it is dropping Trump's Miss USA and Miss Universe beauty pageants, and indicated that Trump will no longer host "The Apprentice."

A spokeswoman for Trump did not immediately return Business Insider's request for comment.
