NFL players have a new, Deflategate-inspired term for when the league investigates somebody
Afterward, Harrison's teammates on the Pittsburgh Steelers took to celebrating the news that their star linebacker wouldn't be suspended.
Running back DeAngelo Williams posted a video to Twitter, celebrating Harrison's "exoneration" and relayed his incredulity over the NFL looking into Harrison's alleged use of PEDs.
Williams also revealed players' new term for when the NFL investigates someone.
"[Harrison] moves a lot of weights, but the man, he ain't gonna cheat, he ain't no PED-type guy," Williams said. "I don't know why they're trying to pin the man - they're trying to pin something on [Harrison]...
"In the NFL, an investigator drop a case on you, man, they try to Tom Brady you. That's what we call it now. They try to double back, they try to double jeopardy. There's no such thing as double jeopardy; they call that Tom Brady now."
It seems NFL players also found the length and the incessant investigation of Brady's Deflategate case (for which he's suspended for four games, effective Week 1) to be excruciating and over-the-top.
As a bonus, Williams also mentioned how the Steelers were planning on celebrating Harrison's freedom.
"We're gonna celebrate at our local donut spot, man. So, we're trying to find some donuts and stuff that we can eat... We're just so excited!"
