No major sports league manages to get the masses itching for more like the NFL.

On Thursday, the NFL returns with a Super Bowl-rematch between the Denver Broncos and the Carolina Panthers for the first game of the regular season.

Then, on Sunday, the sports world gets to binge-watch to satisfy the nearly eight-month craving for more football.
