Porsche just launched its least expensive car in India- the Macan R4 SUV

Porsche has launched its least expensive car that money can buy in the country. The car named Macan R4 SUV is priced at Rs 76.84 lakh in India and this is the fourth Macan variant to be available in India.

The car is powered by 2.0-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine that is tuned to produce 252PS of power and 370Nm of torque. The car is a four wheel drive and has a seven speed, dual clutch automatic transition.

The company is claiming that its new beast can reach upto 100 kmph in just 6.7 seconds and has a top speed of 229kmph. In order to deliver all the power in a linear manner, the Macan R4 is equipped with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) air suspension feature.

The other features includes three-zone automatic climate control system, voice recognition, traction control system, a seven-inch Porsche Communication Management (PCM) touchscreen infotainment system, eight-way electrically adjustable driver's seat, cruise control, powered tailgate, 18-inch alloy wheels, daytime running LEDs and a multi-function steering wheel with paddle-shifters.

Customers can also opt for personalisation options such as bi-xenon or LED headlamps, a panoramic sunroof and heated seats.

The Mecan R4 will come to India just like all the other Porsche cars- via the direct import route.
