Prime beef ribs worth £360 are cooked over an indoor fire pit in the middle of this London restaurant

London restaurant Sophie's Soho has an indoor fire pit where it cooks whole prime ribs right in front of customers.

Each 6-bone rib weighs about 10 kilograms and slow roasts for 5-6 hours.

"We travelled to Buenos Aires and looked at the way the Argentinians cook on fire and thought that we would interpret what they were doing but in a British way and make the fire pit the central heart of the restaurant," said co-owner Sophie Bathgate.

The 1-ton fire pit is made out of steel and was made bespoke for the restaurant.

Each portion serves 2 people and costs £60 ($80).
