A quaint hillstation in Uttarakhand, Ramgarh, best known for Tagore’s stint while writing his famous Gitanjali, has suddenly evoked interest among angel investors. A dozen of high-profile angel investors are gradually setting up a base at Ramgarh. Being off beat, this place gets a flock of tourists leisure tourists from all over the country frequent to watch birds and admire the snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas.Tucked below the Mukteswar Highway in Uttarakhand, Ramgarh is a serene location; silent, charming and of course completely cut-off from the hustle and bustle of urbanity. Dotted by pines and a variety of flora, you can see the clouds enter your room, which leave you drenched.
Driving along the Haldwani- Mukteswar road, there comes a Y-point at Bhowali market where two roads actually diverge in the woods. And then as you take ‘the road less travelled’ on your right, Ramgarh welcomes you with open arms.
Being an offbeat location, you will hardly find many hotels. Malla Ramgarh, the upper part of the village, has only one prominent place to stay – V Resorts. Standing in the balcony that overlooks the mountains, this place seems to be the end of the world. In the late of the night, when crickets stop their chorus, you can only hear your breathing. And when 4-5 friends break into humming a song, it echoes till faraway.
The scenic view of mountains with criss-crossing roads, a brook flowing below and variety of birds are some panoramic treat for your eyes.

And it’s not just the nature that impresses you. If you insist, the chefs at V Resorts would churn out authentic Kumoun dishes like Kumoani Aloo, Pahadi Dal, Ramgarh Mirch Murg, etc that are popular in that part of the Himalayas.
