Starbucks, one of the world’s largest coffee chains is constantly revising its food menu to drive sales at its outlets. This comes in the face of the tough competition conventional fast food chains are currently facing with the advent of healthier food options.
According to a Goldman Sachs report, this puts Starbucks in a unique position to buy off such newer outlets, and retain the reputation of being a fast food chain that sells healthy food.
The Coffee chain has been adding food items like sandwich and salads to its current menu. It’ll also expand to organic fruit squeezes, snacks and yogurt.
Available at over 20,000 locations around the world Starbucks has the size and power to compete with McDonald's and other established fast food chains.

Currently, McDonald’s hasn’t had much luck in proving its food is healthy. The company has recently promised to remove antibiotics and hard-to-pronounce ingredients from the chicken it sells.
