Tamilnadu SSLC Result 2019 to be announced today

The much awaited Tamil Nadu SSLC or Secondary School Leaving Certificate (Class 10) results is to be announced today (April 29, 2019). Official confirmation regarding the time of results has not yet been known. However, as per the general practice noted over the past years, we might expect the results to be out by 9.30 am.
The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) with its headquarters in Egmore, Chennai conducts two examinations in the school level namely SSLC ) Secondary School Leaving Certificate) and HSC (Higher Secondary School Certificate) for class 10 students and class 12 students respectively. The students passing out SSLC examinations can get an entry to the Higher Secondary course. Those students passing out the HSC examinations will be eligible to pursue their graduation in colleges.
Last year, the SSLC examinations were conducted between March 16, 2018 and April 20, 2018. The results were declared on May 23, 2018. This year, the exams and the declaration of results have been advanced due to the Lok Sabha elections.
The Tamil Nadu Board SSLC examinations were conducted from March 19, 2019 to March 24, 2019. As per the statistics published by the government of Tamil Nadu, more than 9 lakh students took the said examination this year. The Higher Secondary Exams (Class 12) were conducted from March 1, 2019 to March 19, 2019. The results of these exams were declared on April 19, 2019.
For the students of SSLC eager to know the results on April 29, 2019, there are three modes to check the results. You can either find your results on the officially listed websites or get it via SMS or find them out through some apps.

Visit any one of the official websites of the TN board namely tnresults.nic.in, dge.tn.gov.in, or dge1.tn.nic.in
Click on the link download ‘TN SSLC Result’.
You need to enter your register number, roll number
You can also download the result and take a print out for further reference.

Step 1: Download the app ‘Tamilnadu Board Result 2019, SSLC & HSC Result’ and install it on your mobile phone. You can find them on Google Play and Apple’s App Store.
Step 2: Click on the ‘Result’ link
Step 4: Click to submit the details
You will find the results displayed on the screen with subject wise marks. You can know theory and practical marks separately. You will also see your total marks result whether pass or fail and the marks you obtained in the optional papers if any.
