Brazilian football club Chapecoense was preparing for the biggest game in its history.

The top division club was charting a flight from Brazil to Colombia, via Bolivia, to play in the Copa Sudamericana final when tragedy struck.

Chapecoense's flight crashed near the city of Medellín in Colombia on Tuesday morning, killing at least 75 people on board.

Seven survivors were pulled from the wreckage. One survivor, though, the team's goalkeeper, Danilo, later died from his injuries.
