FCA held a surprise "24-hour sketch battle" that invited artists of all age groups and experiences from around the world to design their wildest concept RAM trucks.

The sketch battle was an "offshoot" of FCA's Drive for Design Contest.

While the main Drive for Design contest — which is still ongoing — is limited to entries from US high school students between grades 10 and 12, the 24-hour sketch battle was open to any designers of any age around the world so long as the submissions reflected the "wickedest and most outrageous" concept RAM trucks, according to its Facebook post.

To enter, participants could either post their sketch in the comment section of FCA North America's sketch battle announcement on Facebook with the hashtag #DriveforDesign, or tweet the image at @FiatChrysler_NA with the same hashtag.

The announcement of the surprise battle was posted on Facebook on April 8 at 12 p.m. Eastern time, and the competition closed the next day at 5 p.m.
