Elon Musk's Tesla is expected to give a roadmap update on its Cybertruck electric pickup truck in two weeks.

The electric vehicle company announced on Wednesday that it will post its financial results for the fourth quarter of 2021 on January 26.

Musk tweeted in November and also said in early December that a product roadmap update on Tesla's Cybertruck would happen on the company's next earnings call.

Musk's tweet in November indicated that he would be present at Tesla's fourth-quarter investor presentation after being absent from the third-quarter results in October.

Tesla's Cybertruck was due to start shipping last year but the company's website showed in August that production would begin in 2022.

Now, Tesla has removed the dates about Cybertruck production from its website, auto site Edmunds first reported.

Insider reviewed the Cybertruck order page and saw that it used to say: "You will be able to complete your configuration as production nears in 2022." In mid-December, the date was replaced with "as production nears."

Musk said during Tesla's fourth-quarter earnings call in January 2021 that the first Cybertrucks would ship in 2021 only "if we get lucky," but he expected volume production to be in 2022.
