President Donald Trump shot paper towels into an audience filled with reporters and Hurricane Maria victims in Puerto Rico on Tuesday.

Shortly after telling victims to "have a good time," the president visited a chapel and tossed some supplies into the audience.

"There's a lot of love in this room," Trump said. "Great crowd."

Trump's actions lit up social media.

The president's actions during his visit to the island have raised eyebrows.

In a meeting with officials, Trump said the number of people who died in the hurricane was far lower than a "real catastrophe" like Hurricane Katrina, and noted Puerto Rico's budget shortfall.

"I hate to tell you, Puerto Rico, but you've thrown our budget a little out of whack, because we've spent a lot of money on Puerto Rico," Trump said.
