The First Ivy League Acceptance Numbers For The Class Of 2018 Are Out
Dartmouth College is the first Ivy League school to accept students to the Class of 2018, taking 28% of early decision applicants.
In total, Dartmouth accepted 469 students out of 1,678 early decision applicants - a more than 6% rise from last year's ED applications, according to the school. Dartmouth accepted roughly the same percentage of ED applicants for the Class of 2017.
Early admits make up about 40% of Dartmouth's class, the rest of which come from regular admissions decisions, usually released in late March. Last year, Dartmouth's regular decision acceptance rate was around 10%.
Dartmouth recently ranked ninth on Business Insider's "Best Colleges in America" list.
This post will continue to be updated as more admissions numbers are released by the Ivies.
