Four years ago, Jamie Vardy was playing football for non-league side Fleetwood Town in front of crowds of 2,500.

Now, Vardy and his club Leicester City are on the verge of completing one of the most remarkable achievements in British sporting history: winning the Premier League after being promoted to it only the year before.

Vardy is currently the league's top goal scorer with 19 to his name and recently signed a new contract reported to be worth over £4 million ($11 million) a year.
