These 3 Startups just won $50,000 investment from Uber, and mentorship from top Uber executives, VCs in the Valley

Uber will be investing US$50,000 in three startups - SeekSherpa, LeanAgri and Ambee. All three are the winners of UberPITCH, a competition to find some of the country’s most promising startups.
The three winners were finalised out of more than 5,000 applicants who submitted their ideas using their Uber app. 100 were shortlisted and subject to a grilling from expert investors, mentors and venture capitalists.
SeekSherpa, LeanAgri and Ambee which span e-commerce, agriculture and and health sectors emerged as winners.
Travis Kalanick, Uber’s co-founder and CEO, had met some of the entrepreneurs during his recent visit to India in December 2016, and had announced the planned investment of US$ 50,000 in the winning startups.

SeekSherpa is a digital platform for locals to market and sell unique experiences to travellers. SeekSherpa works with the city's locals such as chefs, historians, students, journalists, and photographers in curating interesting immersive and value adding experiences at reasonable price bands for inbound travellers and city dwellers via its tech platform.
LeanAgri
Industry: Agriculture
City: Chennai
LeanAgri aims to provide end-to-end solutions to farmers to increase their farm productivity. They target implementation of scientific farming techniques to drive agriculture industry towards profitability. Their current farming projects are delivering 300% increase in productivity.
Ambee
Industry: Health Tech
City: Hyderabad
Founder and CEO: Jaimon Jose
Ambee is a network of hospital and private ambulances on a single technology platform, enabling users to find the nearest ambulance to go to a destination of their choice.
They will be invited toSan Francisco , where they will get advice and guidance from meet top Uber executives and other venture capitalists.
