A huge smoke cloud that smelled of barbecue enveloped Shoreditch High Street in London

A huge smoke cloud enveloped Shoreditch High Street in London today at about 10.10 am.

Our reporter Rob Price was on the scene. He says there was a fire at Box Park, the pop-up store mall near the Overground station. It's producing lots of smoke but doesn't look serious. The fire brigade attended. The fire was at Bukowski, a barbecue joint. The whole area now stinks of burning meat.

Visibility at the big set of traffic lights on Shoreditch High Street was temporarily reduced to zero. The station was temporarily evacuated.
