An unidentified chinese vehicle was spotted in Leh, according the media reports. Although Indian Army has said there were no transgressions. Further details on the matter are awaited.

This comes two years after Doklam stand off.

According to the News Agency ANI, Chinese Army didn't infiltrate. Their personnel wearing civilian clothes came in a civilian vehicle & stationed themselves on their side of Line of Actual Control in Demchok area said Army Sources on reports of Chinese Army infiltrating into Ladakh area in India.


Both the countries have unresolved border issues for years. Although the two countries share a border that stretches 3488 km in length, they do not have a mutually agreed Line of Actual Control. But in order to reduce the tension between the two forces, they have a Border Defence Cooperation Agreement. However, this agreement requires local commanders to meet and resolve their issues.
