In budget 2019, Petrol, diesel and gold are set to become costlier

India just unveiled its first annual budget after Narendra Modi government took office earlier this year. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, while presenting the 2019-20 budget to the parliament, said the government is going to hike the customs duty of several commodities including gold, imported books making them costlier than they were.

On the flip, the government reduced customs duty on certain products like raw material and electric appliances among others.


Petrol and Diesel will become costlier
