Analysts: The iPhone 5S Coming This Summer

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicted yesterday that Apple will release the iPhone 5S in July, following a June announcement. Apple will also announce iOS 7 around the same time, according to Kuo.

And Rene Ritchie of iMore said yesterday that Apple will release its next-generation iPhone in August.

Kuo expects the iPhone 5S to look very similar to the iPhone 5, but with a faster chip, a better camera system, and a sensor for fingerprints located under the home button.

The fingerprint system, according to Kuo's predictions, will enable users to unlock their phone without the need to type in a password.

Apple is also expected to release the successors to the fourth-generation iPad and first-generation iPad Mini in April, according to analysts.
