Ariana Grande wrote that she was 'broken' after a terrorist attack at her Manchester concert killed at least 22 people, many among them young children.

After an ISIS-backed attacker set off a bomb at the Manchester Arena where she performed, Grande tweeted that she was "broken" and "so so sorry."

Sources who were with the singer after the attack told TMZ that Grande was 'in hysterics' from knowing that young children who came to see her on stage were killed. In total, at least 22 people were killed and 59 were injured from the terrorist attack claimed by the Islamic State.

In the aftermath of the deadly attack, Grande reportedly suspended the rest of her world tour, which included stops in London, Belgium, Poland, Germany, and Switzerland, before heading to South America and Asia.

Grande's manager, Scooter Braun, also issued a statement condemning the attack.

"We mourn the lives of children and loved ones taken by this cowardly act," he wrote. "We are thankful for the selfless service tonight of Manchester's first responders who rushed towards danger to help save lives."
