Cottonseed oil cake futures ease on low demand

New Delhi, Mar 16 () Cottonseed oil cake prices on Monday fell 2.48 per cent to Rs 1,770 per quintal in futures trade as participants reduced their bets tracking a weak trend in spot market.

Analysts said sell-off by participants at existing levels amid subdued trend in market mainly weighed on cottonseed oil cake prices.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for March delivery eased by Rs 45, or 2.48 per cent, to Rs 1,770 per quintal with an open interest of 16,330 lots.

Cottonseed oil cake for April delivery fell by Rs 42, or 2.29 per cent, to Rs 1,789 per quintal in 73,620 lots. VHP SHWSHW
