The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry has introduced an awareness and management course in the novel coronavirus. The course aims to prepare people in case the situation worsens further.



India saw a steep rise in the number of infected cases after 28 news cases were reported in 10 states on March 10. The total number of people infected with Coronavirus stands 184, out which 13 have recovered and 3 are dead.

The course titled ‘COVID-19 Certificate on Awareness and Management’, is free of cost and open to all individuals with any academic backgrounds. As of now, 21,623 people have enrolled in the course.

“If the situation gets worse, there will be a requirement for a lot of trained manpower and in the future the government can hire those who know more about it,” a FICCI official told the Print.

Anybody with a social media and Gmail account can sign up for the course at https://kite.medvarsity.com/.

The course material has 9 modules and eight videos explaining Coronavirus, how it develops, and how to prevent coronavirus outbreak. Moreover, it also has a pdf which provides do’s and dont’s during the coronavirus outbreak.

“The course has no fixed time schedule. There are nine modules and it is up to you to finish them as soon as possible,” FICCI official told the Print.

At the end of the course, FICCI provides you a completion certificate.
